Theoretical Analysis of the U.S. Foreign Policy Towards Kurds in Syria After 2011

The United States' new foreign policy, which includes abandoning America's Kurdish friends and a strategy on how the US should execute military interventions, as well "America First" ethos, has triggered humanitarian catastrophe for Syrian Kurds. Despite prevalence of study American in Syria towards Kurds, there is noticeable lack comprehensive research explaining evaluating growing connections. This paper argues that deciphering these patterns necessitates deep understanding regional politics thorough engagement with vast IR research. In this context, it essential to look at nature, limitations, constraints Kurdish-US relationship, Kurds' most powerful ally. For present study, theoretical framework chosen analyse policy comprehensively. qualitative report based case study. toward seen through several international theories, particularly realism liberalism. suggested aims explain why overlooked Kurds start crisis, worked backed or SDF till 2019, abandoned deserted after shift. To sum up, scholarly reports show mixed results, some claiming decision abandon was well-informed. contrast, others suggest if made without caution, will do more harm than good long-term ally, who played critical role fight against Islamic State Iraq Syria.
